Solid track record of steering implementation of technological functions, including monitoring computer systems and networks along with implementing complex architectures to drive enhanced process improvements. Skilled in customer service, user documentation, pre-sales communication, transmission equipment, IP network design and process improvement. Recognised for handling and maintaining mid-tier hardware and software technical support systems with ability to identify, analyse, and resolve issues; ensuring flawless system operations and efficient support quality.

In my spare time I enjoy riding my motorcycle, go scuba diving (UK and abroad), build LEGO Star Wars sets and tinker with my home automation system.

Additionally as part of my scuba diving I assist the instructor during qualifying sessions and provide DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) sessions. I also provide EFR (Emergency First Responder) courses.

Initial task was design and integrate a new office infrastructure, and migrate existing servers over with minimum service impact. Additionally been tasked with improving security, collate all service and applications used within the company to have a central point of control. This involved new VM server setup and backup management, implement systems using AI to understand employee account usage and file access behaviour. This to improve security to manage unexpected behaviour (like login attempts from unknown locations).

As CCS was integrated with Adtran, assist with merging the IT tasks with Adtran's IT department, and then moved into the Customer Support department.

Cambridge Communication Systems Ltd

Started in Customer Support assisting customer trials and deployments. Then for a short while assist with Product Testing. Now working as Head of IT to maintain the internal networks and assist with new network design for test environments.

Started as Customer Support Teamleader providing training to customer and assist with network deployments. This also involved design of helpdesk system and processes. Also done IOT handset testing and on-site trouble shooting.

1st and 2nd line support for Alcatel/Lucent SDH equipment. Assist with call-centre for support contracts. Including dispatching engineers, logging calls and follow process for escalations and data collection.

Setup micro-wave installation team, including materials for builds, specifications and installation documents, process description. For major Dutch operator assist in micro-wave planning, this involved requesting site acquisition, upgrade existing micro-wave links.
